INCREASING FEDEX OUTGOING SHIPPING EFFECTIVE 01/01/2026
As you may be aware, shipping costs continue to rise due to standard rate increases as well as new tariffs. In addition, FedEx has recently undergone significant organizational changes—including the merger of Ground and Express, the closure of several stations and distribution centers, and the implementation of additional rate adjustments. We have worked diligently to absorb these costs and manage the ongoing changes; however, some updates now require communication.
FedEx has introduced new fees that impact both delivery and pick-up services, including charges to create and e-mail labels, charges for on-site pick-ups that were previously provided at no additional cost. While these changes are outside of our control, we will continue to communicate any updates to shipping rates as they become available.
Due to these increased costs, our outgoing freight charge will be adjusted to $14.00, effective January 1, 2026.
It has also been brought to our attention that a same day pick up scheduled with a ready time after 8:00 AM may not be picked up on the same day. If it is not picked up the same day the pick up will roll over to the following day.
We have also been notified that FedEx will be discontinuing the use of pre-printed shipping labels, which we have supplied to you by FedEx for many years. Although no official end date has been announced, we are proactively exploring alternative options that are both cost-effective and reliable. At this time, we have not yet identified a suitable replacement, but we will keep you informed as we learn more.
As we approach the end of the year, please note that pricing for certain supplies or testing kits may be subject to increase. We remain committed to minimizing any impact on you and will continue to communicate changes promptly and transparently.
We truly value and appreciate your continued business and understanding.
